Every fall the Otsuka Ancient Tomb, a Nationally Designated Special Historical Spot, is open to the general public. The Ancient Mystery Festival is also held at the same time. At this festival, visitors can experience the historical depth of the remaining historical relics. On the eve of the festival, spectators will enjoy watching a taiko performance (Japanese drum performance) and a fireworks display! The following day is the actual festival. Why not try to catch unagi (eels) by hand? There is also a selection of healthy food made in the tradtional way that visitors can try! For those looking for a good deal, check out the flea market! Over the period of 2 days, spectators can experience the historical deep of these historic ruins!
