Amagi Park

甘木公園

It is one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in the prefecture, with a gourd-shaped pond, fountain, and athletic facilities.
Visitors can enjoy seasonal views of someiyoshino cherry trees, azaleas, and maple trees in the fall.
A climbing route is available from the park to Mt. Ohira, which is 2.5 km from Amagi Park to the summit and takes about 50 minutes by adult foot.
