Race your way through spectacular views! 10 Recommended motorbike touring spots & routes in Fukuoka

Just a short ride from Hakata or Tenjin, Fukuoka Prefecture offers spectacular views that captivate riders. From coastlines where you can feel the sea breezes, to mountain roads enveloped in deep greenery and famous sites brimming with historic atmosphere, this article introduces spots and routes that everyone, from first-timers to veterans, can enjoy.

Enjoy motorbike touring in Fukuoka!

Fukuoka Prefecture boasts expansive, diverse natural landscapes that stretch from the coast to the mountains. The climate varies by area; while the coastal areas are relatively warm, the mountainous regions can get severely cold in the mornings, evenings, and during autumn and winter. The best seasons are spring and autumn. Racing while feeling the seasons with all your senses is an exceptional experience, be it taking in the spring breeze and admiring the budding fresh greenery, or immersing yourself in the crisp autumn air before winter's footsteps are heard. However, winter brings risks of icy roads in mountainous areas, on bridges, and at the entrances and exits of tunnels. Always check weather and road conditions beforehand, make thorough preparations for your gear and route selection, and enjoy a safe motorbike tour.
