Kyoho Winery

巨峰ワイナリー

Enjoy delicious wine in the birthplace of nature-rich grape wine.

The Kyoho Winery is located in a perfect location overlooking the Chikugo Plain in the forests of the Minou Renzan Mountains in Kurume City. It is the oldest winery in Fukuoka, where Japan's first Kyoho wine was produced.
In addition to the Kyoho wine produced at the plant, there are unique fruit wines made from blueberries, strawberries and kiwi, which are available for free tasting and sale. There is also an underground cellar where the world's oldest Kyoho wine lies, where visitors can see the tools used in wine making and learn about the process.
The nature-rich site has barbecue facilities surrounded by trees and a restaurant where you can enjoy food and wine, and the quiet time spent looking at the landscape of Tanushimaru with its vineyards is a blissful moment.
The grape picking, autumn 'wine festival' and other seasonal events attract many visitors.
