A winter illumination event honoring Sanshika, a Fukuoka Prefecture-designated cultural property also called the "Shoka Sonjuku of Chikugo," and commemorating the virtues of Maki Izuminokami Yasuomi, a loyalist activist of the late Edo period who lived there for about 10 years.
