Kushida Shrine – Grand Setsubun Festival

【櫛田神社】節分大祭

The Kushida Shrine Grand Setsubun Festival is held on Setsubun Day in February. The shrine features Japan’s largest “Otafuku mask”, and famous personalities take part in the traditional bean-throwing ceremony (mamemaki) to drive away evil spirits and invite good fortune.
