Keshikeshisai (Mt. Kabuto Festival)

けしけし祭(兜山 青木繁慰霊)

This festival binds Junkoji Temple in Hiyoshi Town and Mt. Kabuto (fondly known as “Mt. Keshikeshi”) on the far side of Mt. Kora. Flowers, drinks and poems are dedicated to the monument to Aoki Shigeru, a genius oil painter who sadly passed away at a young age.
