Ishibashi Cultural Center Winter Illumination – “Museum of Light”

【石橋文化センター】ウインターイルミネーション 「光のミュージアム」

In 2026, the Ishibashi Cultural Center will celebrate its 70th anniversary, and a new winter attraction is set to debut! The winter illumination event “Museum of Light”, produced by nightscape critic and illumination producer Motoo Marumaru, will be held for the first time.

In the Memorial Zone of the Western-style garden, a dynamic artistic “Orchestra of Light” will perform every 10 minutes. In the Japanese-style zone surrounded by trees around the pond, lights themed on “the heart of Japan and hospitality” will provide a harmonious and soothing glow. In the Creative Forest Zone, featuring the atelier of Western painter Shigeru Sakamoto and a bamboo grove, delicate lights reminiscent of fireflies will create a mysterious illuminated path.
