Fukuoka City Sawara Civic Pool" has the longest history of all the civic pools in Fukuoka.
The indoor 25-meter pool has six courses for adults (1.1 m to 1.2 m depth) and one course for toddlers (0.7 m depth), and is heated so that swimming can be enjoyed comfortably all year round. A children's physical education school for children as young as 4 years old is also available.

The designated manager has been changed to Central Sports Joint Venture since April 2022, but the pool will continue to be available for everyone to use.
