FUKUOKA OPEN TOP BUS

福岡オープントップバス

The open-top double-decker sightseeing bus “FUKUOKA OPEN TOP BUS,” operated by Nishi-Nippon Railroad, will introduce a new “Dazaifu Course” connecting Tenjin and Dazaifu starting Saturday, March 28, 2026. This route links Tenjin, the heart of Fukuoka, with key attractions such as the historic Dazaifu Government Office Ruins and the area around Dazaifu Station. Passengers can also enjoy close-up views of airplanes taking off and landing at Fukuoka Airport. This course offers a unique sense of excitement and openness, different from the “Seaside Momochi Course” and the “Fukuoka Kirameki Course.”
Two new buses introduced on the same day feature designs inspired by cherry blossoms—symbolic of Japan—and plum blossoms, the official flower of Fukuoka Prefecture. Each bus has 10 more seats than before and is equipped with a retractable roof, allowing for a more comfortable ride in any weather. All routes offer multilingual audio guides (English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese), which passengers can access on their own smartphones.

Courses:
Seaside Momochi Course (approx. 60 minutes)
Fukuoka Sparkle Course (approx. 80 minutes)
Dazaifu Course (approx. 60 minutes) Available from March 28, 2026
The “Hakata Downtown Course” will end on March 27, 2026.

Boarding Location:
