Harazuru Onsen

Located along the banks of the Chikugo River, Harazuru Onsen is said to have been named after a legend in which cranes were seen bathing in the river. Visitors can enjoy the hot springs throughout the four seasons — cherry blossoms in spring, cormorant fishing and grape picking in summer, and autumn foliage and persimmon picking in fall. The mildly alkaline spring contains sulfur and combines two types of waters: one that gently removes old keratin and another with a whitening effect. This unique combination has earned it the nickname “Double Beauty Hot Spring,” beloved for its skin-smoothing benefits.
