Just a 10-minute drive from Yame IC on the Kyushu Expressway, Bengalamura Onsen was fully renewed in 2021.
This onsen complex is built around Bengara no Yu—a natural onsen and sauna hub—alongside restaurants, cafés, a craft beer brewery, and even an RV park.
The onsen is an alkaline simple onsen with a light, skin-friendly feel.
Sauna fans will especially appreciate the latest METOS equipment, including the highly praised IKI sauna and bona sauna.
Cold baths use fresh groundwater, and a Totonoi Terrace sits next to the open-air bath—perfect for cooling down while feeling the breeze of Yame.
Inside the onsen building, you’ll also find generous rest areas, a manga corner, and a coworking space.
Whether you want a post-bath refresh, a good read, or even a little work time, it’s an easy place to slow down and spend the whole day at your own pace.
