Chikuhou Greenery Park

筑豊緑地公園

Wellness(exercise, rest, and nutrition)-themed spacious Chikuhou Greenery Park was built on a hill area spread over Kaita and Shonai. It features a 300-meter track, a baseball field equipped for night games, circuit training courses of basketball and gateball, tennis courts, and a football field. Besides ”Sport Zone”, there are open outdoor stages, two large and one small, and grassy spaces installed with play equipments like trampolines and a jungle gym for children. A bridge runs across a pond, and visitors can enjoy the landscape from an observatory.

Access	By train and bus - Get off at JR Shiniizuka Station on the Fukuhoku Futaka Line and take a Nishitetsu Bus bound for Tagawa to Chikuho Yuenchimae stop (20 minute bus ride); the park is close-by. By bus - Take an express/nonstop bus to Chikuho Jidousya Shikenjomae stop; a 10 minute walk from there OR Take a Nishitetsu Bus on the Iizuka to Tagawa Line and get off at Chikuho Yuenchimae stop; the park is close-by.
