Nogata Tulip Fair 2026
のおがたチューリップフェア
A collaboration of colorful tulips and cherry blossoms herald the arrival of spring
Nogata City's major event held every year from late March to early April at Ongagawa Riverside Park, when more than 200,000 tulips and muscali planted by more than 1,000 citizen volunteers bloom all over the riverbed. The sight of red, yellow, pink, and other colorful tulips swaying in the wind is elegant and truly refreshing. If your timing is right, you may be able to see a rare collaboration with cherry blossoms and rape blossoms in full bloom.
In 2026, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the event, the first-ever “Night Tulip” experience will be held (April 4 only). Illuminated tulips will reveal a magical and enchanting atmosphere, offering a completely different view from the daytime scenery. Various events are planned for the weekends during the festival, including stage shows by local groups. There is also a large lawn area lined with stalls and kitchen cars, so you can enjoy a spring day outing with your family and friends to the fullest.
