Fukuoka Marathon 2025 Runner Registration Opens!

Runner registration for the Fukuoka Marathon 2025 (scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025) is now open !! 

Celebrating its 12th anniversary, the Fukuoka Marathon has enjoyed popularity among runners, attracting over 10,000 participants from both Japan and abroad. The race starts at Tenjin district, the vibrant heart of Fukuoka City with excellent transportation links, and finishes in Itoshima, a scenic area known for its stunning coastline and mountains, beloved by both domestic and international visitors. As runners pass through the changing scenery from the urban landscape to the rich natural environment, they are sure to be engaged and energized throughout their journey. 

Starting this year, the number of slots for international runners has been increased; therefore, the first 1,000 overseas applicants will be guaranteed a spot without a lottery.
* Please note that if overseas applications exceed 1,000, the remaining entrants will be selected by lottery with domestic participants, as this event is highly popular.
