In the heart of Tenjin, Fukuoka City, the world of the “Kobitos” comes to life! The 2025 ACROS Fukuoka Illumination is a collaboration with the popular children’s book series Kobito Zukan, which has sold over 3.1 million copies. Along illuminated paths, stairways, and the rooftop observation deck, you’ll find mysterious glowing creatures—the Kobitos—appearing all around.

Highlights include a 4-meter-wide panel vividly depicting colorful Kobitos, as well as popular characters like Kakure Momojiri and Hotoke Akabane. Unique Kobitos native to Fukuoka Prefecture will also make special appearances, along with adorable animals and dinosaurs.

During the event, the Step Garden and rooftop observation deck—normally closed at night—will be open to the public. Climb “Mount ACROS,” enjoy the light art, and take in a panoramic night view of Tenjin from 60 meters above ground.
