IFSC CLIMBING GRAND FINALS FUKUOKA 2025

The brand-new international competition “Grand Finals 2025” will be held in Iizuka City, Fukuoka!
Established by the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) as the season’s closing event, this groundbreaking tournament will feature a new mixed-gender nation vs. nation format. For the first time in Japan, Sport Climbing and Paraclimbing will be staged together, making this a pioneering event that shapes the future of sport climbing.
There are also Official Hospitality Packages, which include special perks such as meet-and-greets with athletes and live commentary from guest climbers. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience that you can only have here!

【IFSC NATIONS GRAND FINALE】
A mixed-gender national team competition featuring two disciplines: Bouldering, where athletes compete to complete as many problems as possible within the time limit, and Lead, where the challenge is to climb as high as possible on a long route.
Japan, the United States, South Korea, Australia, Canada, and Israel—a total of six countries—are set to compete.
The Japanese national team members are: for the men, Anraku Sorato, Amagasa Sohta, and Yoshida Satone; for the women, Nonaka Miho, Nakamura Mao, and Tanii Natsuki. Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Nonaka will serve as team captain!

【IFSC PARA CLIMBING MASTER】
The world’s top para climbers will compete in four men’s and four women’s categories—the same events to be featured at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. On the final day, a special exhibition highlighting the IFSC’s core value of “inclusion” will also take place, introducing a brand-new competition format.
