Taibaru Gingko Trees

A spectacular sight of over 70 golden ginkgo trees lining the street.

The ginkgo tree, the symbol of Hirokawa Town, was publicly chosen and designated as the town tree in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the town's establishment.
From mid to late November, during autumn, the line of ginkgo trees in the Taibaru area turn into a golden color, and every year, many people visit the area to catch a glimpse of this breathtaking scenery. When the colored leaves fall, the ground becomes a carpet of yellow, making it even more beautiful.
When the weather is not so chill in autumn, there may still be green leaves even during the viewing period. Please check the status of the leaves on the Hirokawa Town Tourist Association Instagram account before visiting.

*This is private property, and the owner has kindly allowed visitors to view the site.
Please be sure to take your trash with you and visit the site in the spirit of “leaving it more beautiful than when you arrived." Please refrain from obstructing traffic, such as parking on the street. We also ask for your cooperation in avoiding traffic congestion.
