Hofukujiyama Azalea Park
宝福寺山つつじ公園
Hofukujiyama, the most famous azalea viewing spot in the Keichiku area.
Approximately 3,000 azaleas, mainly yodogawas and kirishimas, are in full bloom over an area of approximately 7,000 square meters. The “Azalea Festival” is held from late April to early May, when the azaleas are at their best. During the festival, bonbori (paper lanterns) are lit and visitors can enjoy the daytime and nighttime scenery.
