Mushirouchi Canola Flower Fields

筵内の菜の花畑

These canola flower fields are lovingly cultivated by local residents. Every year, about 5 million blossoms cover roughly 60,000 square meters of land, transforming the area into a vast yellow carpet.
The fields are divided into several sections, decorated with cheerful displays such as carp streamers (koinobori) and the “Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness.” In 2017, the site was honored with the Koga City Urban Landscape Award.

Best viewing season: February – Mid-March
Note: Blooming times may vary depending on the weather. Please check the latest information before visiting.
