Imagawa Riverside

今川河畔

Yukuhashi City is blessed with over 20 rivers flowing through it. Among them, the Imagawa River, which originates from Mount Hiko and runs across the city, is beloved by locals as their hometown river.
Around the Yume Town Yukuhashi area near the river’s mouth, the Imagawa riverside has been developed as a city park with walking paths, attracting people who enjoy fishing and leisurely strolls.
In spring, about 1,000 cherry trees and bright yellow rapeseed flowers bloom along both banks, creating a cheerful and vibrant atmosphere. The contrast of the cherry blossoms reflected on the river’s surface against the blue sky is truly breathtaking.

Best viewing season: Late March – Early April
Note: Blooming times may vary depending on the weather. Please check the latest information before visiting.
