Located inside Ogori City Sogo Hoken Fukushi Center Asuterasu Manten no Yu this municipal onsen facility serves as a beloved gathering place for local residents.
The name reflects the idea of “lighting the way to tomorrow” and creating a shared terrace-like space for everyone.
True to its name, the facility fills up daily from its 10:00 a.m. opening.
The alkaline simple onsen flows freely from 1,499 meters underground, offering a soft, silky feel.
The spacious indoor bath allows you to enjoy this fresh water to the fullest.
Two types of open-air baths are available: a traditional Japanese-style bath and a modern Western-style bath, both offering views of the night sky.
Men’s and women’s baths alternate weekly.
A family bath with a fragrant hinoki wood tub is also available by advance phone reservation.
