Kitakyushu Kokura Castle Festival

The warriors are coming to Kokura Castle! An event where you can learn and play history in a fun way.

The Kitakyushu Kokura Castle Festival is an annual autumn festival at Kokura Castle. The festival has been held every year since 1959, when the Kokura Castle Keep was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire.
Various events are held during the festival, including character shows, dance performances by local children and local performing arts on a special stage in the square in front of the castle tower.
Other events include a tourism PR booth and a hometown goodies market, making this a very lively event that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
