Yomiya Park

夜宮公園

Yomiya Park is located in a hilly area primarily made up of pine groves almost exactly in the center of Tobata Ward. Utilizing a terrain rich in nature such as ponds and brooks, the park also offers a walking course, plaza, and rest area. Gorgeous flowers are in bloom year-round (plum blossoms in the winter, cherry blossoms in the spring, and irises and azaleas in the early summer), making the park a treat on the eyes! One particular pride of the park is the scale of its iris gardens (7,000 bulbs) planted in Yomiya pond and so on. Yomiya Park is also right next to a Government-Designated Important Cultural Asset, the former Matsumoto Residence (The Industry Club of West Japan).

*About the Park: Area - 10.3 hectares (about 25.5 acres)
*Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible restrooms; guide dogs permitted
