The rock that won't fall off the rocky mountain

岩石山の落ちない岩

The "Rock of Dangling in the Air," a popular place for students to make a wish for an entrance exam

Iwashiyama (Mt. Ganjakusan), 454 meters above sea level, is located on the border between Akamura and Soeda Town and was a training ground for mountain priests in the old days. The trail is strewn with huge rocks and oddly shaped rocks, making it a favorite spot for fans of huge rocks.
When you start climbing one of the several trails from the Akamura side, you will see "a mysterious rock that seems to be falling but does not fall," which is a giant rock that has fallen and is stuck in the rock.
Because of the appearance of the rock, which does not seem to fall off easily, it has become a popular spot for students to pray for success in entrance examinations. The large rocks blocking the way are at a height where one can easily touch them, so they are also attracting attention as a good place to take pictures for social networking sites.
