Kanmabu Park and its Fall Foliage
Saidosho, the copper mining site where Kanmabu Park is located, is the name of a place in Kawara Town, Tagawa County, Fukuoka Prefecture. The name of this place comes from the fact that copper was once mined halfway up Mt. Kawaradake.
The site of the mine is now the "Historical Site of Kanmabu", and Kanmabu Park has been developed in the surrounding area.
In autumn, you can enjoy the autumn leaves of maples and ginkgo trees in the park.
Best time to see autumn leaves: Around November
