Embraced by the beautiful forests of Yame, Kutsurogi no Mori Greenpia-Yame is a leisure resort that welcomes visitors with a different face in every season.
Cherry blossoms, azaleas, and rhododendrons in spring; hydrangeas in summer; vibrant autumn foliage; and nandina, camellias, and sasanqua camellias in winter—seasonal flowers and plants bring color to the grounds year-round.
Spread across its expansive site are accommodation buildings, an onsen, a pool, sports fields, tennis courts, and a dog run.
Among the cottages scattered throughout the greenery, three are designed for stays with pets, making it easy to enjoy time together in nature.
The onsen in the main building draws alkaline simple onsen water from 1,600 meters underground.
In addition to a large public bath with an open-air bath and sauna, private reservable baths offer a more intimate soaking experience.
Day-use bathing is also available, making it a great option to combine with seasonal flower viewing or a meal at the on-site restaurant.
The resort also welcomes corporate training programs and sports camps, adding to its wide range of uses.
