Camping facilities in the park with views from the top of Mount Omaki to Mount Aso, the Ariake Sea and Mount Unzen Fugendake.

May not be available depending on weather conditions.
Heavy rainfall in August 2021 caused a major landslide on the road to the park.
Although emergency works have been completed, further collapses could occur.
Therefore, if severe weather conditions are expected, such as warning-level heavy rain, the road may be closed without notice, so please check the weather information before using the park.

The campground is located in a park on Mount Omaki (405 m above sea level), the city's highest peak, in Miyama City in southern Fukuoka Prefecture.
From the summit, a 360° panorama can be seen from the distant outer rim of Aso, the Tsukushi Plain, the Saga Plain, the Ariake Sea and Mt Unzen Fugendake.
There are three bungalows, a cooking area and open space to enjoy camping. Athletic playground equipment is also available for families with children.
The park is known as a spot where the sunset is particularly beautiful in a quiet and tranquil environment, and where many people visit on New Year's Day to catch a glimpse of the first sunrise of the year.
The mountain road to the park is narrow and curvy, so drive carefully. (Bungalows must be reserved in advance).
