Kiyomizuyama Irohamomiji (Japanese Maple)

清水山一帯の紅葉

Kiyomizuyama was chosen as one of the 500 best walking paths in the entire country. When the leaves change color in autumn it is especially beautiful and spectacular. Among them, Kiyomizu Temple Honbo Teien Garden, a nationally designated scenic spot reportedly created by Sesshu in the Muromachi Period, blends natural beauty with man-made beauty, and the autumn leaves which change color from late November to early December are beautiful.
You can also enjoy “Miyama/ Kiyomizuyama Olle Course,” opened in February 2017, and “Kiyomizuyama Momiji Walk” held every year.
