An exotic port town, Mojiko Retro District is decorated with fantastic illuminations in December. About 300,000 light bulbs are lite up on 100 trees, and retro buildings such as the Former Osaka Shosen Mercantile Steamship Co. Building and the Former Moji Mitsui Club Building look fantastic. Don’t miss the “Mojiko Retro Night Fantasy” light show by a famous illumination designer!

Open	October & March–May: 18:30 – 24:00 (in principle) November–February: 17:30 – 24:00 (in principle) On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the illumination will start at 19:00 for the lighting ceremony. On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the illumination will remain on until 5:00 the following morning.

Access	By train - Get off at JR Mojiko Station. By car - A 10 minute drive from the Moji Interchange off the Kyushu Expressway.
