Mekari Park

和布刈公園

Enjoy both the waterfront and the woods at Mekari Park! This vast park spans from the top of Mt. Kojo to the coast line, and visitors strolling through it will never tire of viewing the enormous panorama from the lookout, the dynamic ebb and flow of the tide, or the sight of ships coming and going! Mekari Park is also a hot-spot for bird watching as well as flower-viewing, and is embraced by the people of Kitakyushu as a great place to simply relax!
