Uminaka Candle Night 2025

A “Happy Christmas Connected by Light,” drawn with 10,000 glowing candles

The winter tradition of Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, “Uminaka Candle Night,” will be held in 2025 on December 13 (Sat), 14 (Sun), 20 (Sat), 21 (Sun), 24 (Wed), and 25 (Thu) — a total of six magical evenings.
The highlight of the event, the 10,000 Candle Art, is created each year based on a design selected from public submissions.

The 2025 theme is “A Happy Christmas Connected by Light.”
The chosen design will form a massive 100-meter-wide light art installation on the ground.
