Yanagawa Mutsugoro-land

When the tide goes out, vast mud flats are created in the Ariake Sea, where mutsugorou (mudskippers) appear. Yanagawa Mutsugorou Land, located next to the Ariake Sea, is a hands-on tourist facility where visitors can enjoy glamping, camping, and barbecuing in the pleasant sea breeze.
A wide variety of special Ariake Sea experiences are available by reservation, including traditional fishing methods such as "spider net fishing," "mutsugake" and "nori (seaweed) plucking. The salt-making experience using the nutrient-rich seawater of the Ariake Sea, into which many rivers such as the Chikugo River and the Yabe River flow, is also popular.
And in the fall, visitors can try their hand at harvesting grapes that the staff has painstakingly grown! With a full range of accommodations, the facility is also used as a training and exchange center for sports, recreation, and other activities.
In July, when the sunflowers in the nearby sunflower garden are at their best, the entire area is dyed a brilliant yellow, attracting visitors.

Open	Hours of operation: 9:00am-5:00pm (in principle) Multipurpose rooms and Japanese-style rooms (large and small) are open from 5:00pm to 9:00am the following day. From 3:00pm to 11:00am the following day for lodging in the plaza on the south side of the main building. Check-in for accommodation at the facilities and campsites must be completed by 5:00pm.
