The Tankobushi Roll is a cake with a thick color made from a light grey cream with a black sesame seed paste and a black sponge texture using bamboo charcoal. (Tankobushi is a popular folk song about working in the coal mines. It originated from Fukuoka Prefecture). In accordance to this name, this cake has become a new speciality product symbolizing the importance of the coal mine industry in Omuta.

People who try this cake will taste the abundance of sesame in the cream as well as the azuki powder rolled around the cream. Why not try this new and exciting sweet that will satisfy every sweet tooth!
