Yakitori (skewered chicken)

Fukuoka citizens love yakitori. City streets are filled with so many yakitori restaurants here that there is no other like it anywhere.
Fukuoka style of yakitori is, at first, cabbage with vinegar must be served right as one sits down to place an order. This is complimentary, and the seconds are free of charge for most restaurants. It is indeed yakitori as in skewered chicken; however, there should be varieties of items on the menu. Pork back ribs, beef hanging tender, and seafood, just to name a few. The average price for one skewer is about 100yen anywhere around the Prefecture. Available all throughout Fukuoka - from Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka City, to Kurume City, anywhere and everywhere.
