Kitakyushu Environment Museum

Kitakyushu Environment Museum’s exhibit area is divided into six sections that introduce such topics as the history of Kitakyushu City’s triumph over environmental pollution, environmental issues facing the city as well as the earth, and the city’s goal to become an eco-city of the future! Environmental messages for future generations are projected onto the globe-shaped Dome Theater ceiling, and the Information Library allows visitors to browse or borrow environmental study materials such as books or videos.
The Environment Museum is an all-in-one center where people can get together and enjoy learning about the environment! The “Play and Learn Environmental Lab” , where local volunteers are on hand to assit with educational games and eco-projects, is always open!
