Okagaki-cho Seaside Cycling (Bicycle Rental)

With a magnificent view of the Genkai Sea! Fukuoka's world-class cycling road

A 7.5 km bicycle path runs along the Hibikinada Sea from Hatsu in Okagaki Town to Ashiya Beach. The clean and well-maintained seaside cycling road is safe and easy to ride, even with children, as no cars pass by!
The Okagaki Town Sightseeing Station Hokutoshichisei, the base for renting bicycles, is a convenient facility with rest rooms, changing rooms, and showers. There is a wide variety of bicycles available, and even those who are not confident in their physical strength can enjoy cycling on electric-assist bicycles. Next door, "Rinrin Club Okagaki" has also been completed and serves as a rest facility for cyclists and tourists using the "Nogata, Munakata, and Shikanoshima Island Route.
Nearby is "Breakwater Art," using a breakwater as a canvas, a perfect Instagram spot! Be sure to experience the charm of seaside cycling, where you can have the sound of the waves all to yourself.

The Okagaki Town beach is known as the beach where the Big Dipper can be seen swimming in seawater, the "Big Dipper's water trickle". Many tourists visit during the viewing season (September to November) to catch a glimpse of this phenomenon, which is rare in the world
