Former Home of Ito Tsunetari

伊藤常足旧宅

Tsunetari Ito known as an educator along with a Shinto priest and a Japanese scholar from the latter half of the Edo period wrote 82 volumes of the topographical book Dazaikannaishi over 37 years. Tsunetari lived in this straw thatched one story wooden house from the age of 13. Recreations of diagrams and documents from the period are on display as well as farming equipment.
