This guesthouse is operated by a couple comprising a Swede with experience as a pastry chef and in catering, and their Japanese partner. Here, in a traditional Japanese home, surrounded by bucolic farmland in this place famous for its green tea production, visitors can enjoy fresh ingredients and vegetables grown in the gesthouse's own garden. The surroundings offer such pastimes as river activities, cycling, mountain and rock climbing, and even hot springs, all within a radius of approximately 15 to 30 minutes. If your schedule allows, you can even make a reservation (by the day before you arrive) to join the lunch served at the guest house.
