Shiranoe Botanical Garden Sakura Festival

白野江植物公園さくらまつり

Enjoy a variety of events in the garden filled with blooming cherry blossoms and rhododendrons, including a mystery-solving event and sales of garden trees and flower seedlings. A “Breeze Concert” and a night tour to admire illuminated cherry blossoms are also scheduled. Spring-limited gourmet menus will be available at kitchen cars and the café space.

Cherry Blossoms in the Garden
The garden boasts a collection of approximately 700 cherry trees of about 60 varieties, including the 450-year-old prefecturally designated Natural Monument “Shiranoe no Satozakura,” as well as Kawazu-zakura and Somei Yoshino.

Best Viewing Period: Late February to mid-April
